We use these for annual colour in the garden. We usually change them twice a year. In October we fill them with layers of bulbs (which will flower from January to May) and plant pansies on the top for colour while we are waiting for the bulbs to shoot up.

In June after the frosts have passed we empty the pots and fill them with a variety of annuals giving summer colour.
